Dawson is a phenomenal student athlete. He excels both on and off the field daily. He is the most dependable person on the offensive line and has stepped up into his role as the leader of the offensive line and is also a team captain for the 2023 season. He possesses the intangibles that anyone would look for not just in a football player but a human being. He has a great heart and will go out of his way to make sure things can run as they should and will put in extra work to separate himself from the pack. He is such a great individual that if my daughters told me they were marrying a guy that has his qualities, I would be overflowing with joy. Whatever he chooses to do in life whether it be football or any other career field, I have no doubts that he will be very successful and make a path for the next generation that follows him.

Travis High School
Offensive Line Coach
I have known Dawson for 12 years. I have watched him as a little boy throwing the football in his grandparent's (our next-door neighbors and friends) back yard.
His passion for football and life have been evident from the moment I met the little guy! When my own grandkids visit in the summer, Dawson is happy to throw the football across the fence to the younger kids. I am impressed with his patience and kind attitude towards them. As I have watched him grow up and have followed his football path, I continually see a young man that is dedicated, determined, and driven. As an offensive lineman he has done everything he can to better himself in both the sport and the position, while continuing to work hard in school and the community. Dawson has a kind heart and gentle spirit -- even though he is a giant in stature! He is always willing to help his grandparents and us in any way possible. He is respectful and responsible. He is also the first one to sit down with the adults and carry on fun and interesting conversations. He is interested in so many things and always seeking knowledge and advice from us. Dawson continues to make good choices in a challenging world! I am excited to see where his career path takes him, whether it be in football or something else because he will do great things and make a lasting impact on the lives he comes in contact with.
Respectfully,

I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Mr. Dawson Elliott, a remarkable young individual who has been a dedicated volunteer at the Pecan Grove Fire Department. As the Chief of this department, I have had the privilege of working closely with Dawson and have been consistently impressed by his character, work ethic, and commitment to both his community and his personal goals. Dawson's passion for football is undeniable. From the very first time I met him, it was evident that he possesses the drive, determination, and talent necessary to excel in the sport. His athletic abilities have shone on the field, and his discipline and teamwork have set him apart as a leader among his peers. I firmly believe that he has the potential to make a significant impact on any college football team fortunate enough to recruit him.
What truly sets Dawson apart, however, is his commitment to serving his community through volunteer work at our fire department. Despite the rigorous demands of his high school football schedule, Dawson has consistently made time to contribute to our department. His dedication to both football and firefighting demonstrates his ability to balance multiple responsibilities while excelling in each. Dawson exhibits exceptional leadership qualities during his time here. He is reliable, responsible, and shows remarkable poise in high-pressure situations. Dawson consistently demonstrates a level of maturity and composure beyond his years. His ability to think critically and act decisively under pressure is a testament to his character and mental toughness.
Moreover, Dawson's commitment to learning and growth is evident. He actively seeks feedback, continually strives to improve his skills, and consistently goes above and beyond what is required of him. This attitude has not only made him a valuable asset to our fire department but also showcases his potential to thrive athletically at the college level. Dawson's character and work ethic extend beyond the football field and the firehouse. He is a respectful, courteous, and kind young man who consistently shows empathy and compassion towards others. His ability to connect with people from all walks of life is a testament to his interpersonal skills, which will undoubtedly serve him well in any team or community setting.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Dawson Elliott for recruitment to your college football program. His combination of athleticism, leadership, dedication, and character make him an outstanding candidate. I am confident that he will not only excel on the football field but also contribute positively to the overall culture of your institution. If you have any further questions or require additional information about Dawson, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be more than happy to provide any further insights or details about his outstanding qualities. Thank you for considering Dawson Elliott as a prospective member of your college football team. I believe he has the potential to make a significant impact both athletically and personally, and I am excited to see all that he will achieve in the future.

I am writing this reference at the request of Dawson Elliott who I would categorize as a high character, hardworking and under-recruited student athlete. I have known Dawson for one year in my capacity as Director of Operations of MoBall Coach Academy / GamepPlan Recruiting. Dawson has played varsity football for William B. Travis High School since he was a freshman and has had an extremely positive affect on the school’s athletic program. Based on his work ethic, competitiveness and outstanding character, I would rate him as a superior team player.
He is not only a great teammate, but also an exceptional football player. As a team player, Dawson has several strengths to offer an organization. He earned 1st Team Offensive Line All-District OL - 2022, Travis High School Lineman of the Year - 2022, 2023 Varsity Football Captain and 2022/2023 Next Level Houston Top 100 Camp Invitee honors. He is an intelligent, capable and personable young man.
In addition, he displays an enthusiastic approach when faced with challenges. He continues to enrich the football environment at Travis High School. The Tigers are fortunate to have him as part of the program. In summary, I recommend Dawson without reservation for any position or endeavor that he may seek to pursue. He will be a valuable asset and a positive addition to any organization. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Donald Hollas
